# Configuring Attachment Profile

Signer Attachments allow you to collect **supporting documents from signatories** as part of the signing workflow (for example, ID proof or authorization documents). This configuration happens in **two stages**:

1. **Admin-level setup** and
2. **Template-level assignment to signatories**.

***

#### 1. Configure Signer Attachments (Admin Setup)

Before attachments can be used in a template, they must be configured by an admin.

**Steps:**

* Navigate to **SETTINGS →ATTACH SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS DURING SIGNING**

* Click **Create New** to define an attachment profile.

* Provide the following details:
  * **Profile Name** – Logical name for the attachment set (e.g., *IdentityProof*).
  * **Document Name** – Name shown to the signer.
  * **Document Instruction** – Guidance displayed to the signer while uploading.
  * **Allowed File Extensions** – Supported formats (PDF, JPG, PNG, etc.).
  * **Maximum File Size** – File size limit.
  * **Mandatory** – Mark whether upload is required to proceed.
* Save the profile.

Once saved, the attachment profile becomes available for use while configuring templates.

#### 2. Assign Attachment Profile in Flexi Form Template

After adding signatories in the Flexi Form Template, attachment profiles can be assigned **per signatory**.

**Steps:**

1. In the **Configure Signatory** panel, click the **Settings (⚙️)** icon for the required signatory.
2. The **Configure Attachment Profile** window opens.
3. Select a **Profile Name** from the dropdown.
   * The list is populated based on profiles created in **Signer Attachments (Admin Settings)**.
4. Click **Apply** to save the configuration.

#### Key Behavior

* Attachment configuration is **signatory-specific**.
* Only profiles created in **Admin → Signer Attachments** are available for selection.
* This ensures controlled, reusable, and consistent attachment handling across templates.
