1. SHCIL e-Stamping Integration
Region: India
Overview: emSigner now integrates with SHCIL (Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited) for e-stamping. Users can get SHCIL e-stamp papers and attach them to documents inside the emSigner signing workflow. They no longer need to buy stamp papers separately.
Key Benefits:
Brings e-stamping and e-signing together in one platform
Removes manual steps to buy and attach stamp papers separately
Speeds up turnaround on agreements that need stamp duty
Use Cases:
A lender generates loan agreements with SHCIL e-stamp papers attached and sends them for signature in one flow
An HR or legal team stamps and signs rental, employment, or vendor agreements without leaving emSigner
Note: SHCIL e-stamping is available for selected states and article codes. For the list of supported states and article codes, please contact emSigner Support.
2. KMS Document Encryption
Region: Global
Overview: emSigner now lets organizations encrypt their documents with their own AWS KMS key. This gives clients direct control over how their document data is protected. The feature is available on the Professional plan.
Key Benefits:
Gives organizations full control of the encryption key for their documents
Supports data security and compliance needs in regulated industries
No change to how users send or sign documents
Use Cases:
A bank encrypts all signed documents with its own key to meet its internal security policy
A regulated client shows auditors that its documents are protected by a key it owns and manages
3. External Signer Activity Report
Region: Global
Overview: emSigner now tracks each step an external signer takes in the signing flow. This includes link opened, OTP/authentication, document viewed, form fill, comments, attachments, signature appearance, signed, declined, and downloaded. The data feeds a new External Signer Activity report. The report shows a journey funnel, key KPIs, and breakdowns by authentication mode, device, browser, and signing mode. A per-signer timeline shows each signer's full journey.
Key Benefits:
Clear view of where external signers drop off in the signing journey
Faster support: teams can see exactly what a signer did and when
Data to improve completion rates and signer experience
Better audit and dispute support with a step-by-step signer timeline
Use Cases:
A business team uses the funnel to see that many signers stop at OTP, then switches to a simpler authentication mode
A support agent opens a signer's timeline to answer "I never got the document" with facts
Operations teams compare device and browser data to spot and fix signing issues on specific platforms
